![]() my ignition fuse melted with part of the fuse box as well. i was able to save all the other fuses but the box is history. I'm not sure what made this happen maybe something to do with the wiring, but i need help. where do i go from here? is it easier just to buy a whole new wire harness connected to the fuse box or should i just buy a new fuse box and still use my old wire harness? and if anyone has these parts i need to buy them so pm me your responses. i have a 93' 240sx s13. thank you.

Nissan harnesses suck, you're probably better off replacing the whole thing. There's obviously a short of some sort in your harness. Also you never mentioned anything about mods or bigger wheels and tires that might be rubbing your harness somewhere.

You are gonna want to replace your fusebox & to make life easier for you, the harness from the fusebox to the steering column.
Well, if you can find the same harness. It should have the same options and same year possibly. Thats most likely where your short is at. Your other option would be to go thru your whole ignition circuit and literally find the short by looking for exposed, cut, or damaged wire.
