S13 key turn over "click" everythings dead

Let me start off by saying...my car is very bumpy
This happened a few days ago while I was going home from a very intense bumpy ride. (I-80)

car is a 89 auto shell with a rb20....
Needless to say when I checked the wiring the other day it was all butt tied and not even covered with electric tape. I wrapped every bare wire I saw since I was at school and just wanted to get home from a wire grounding out every bump.

The next dayor two later I hear Click when i try to turn it over.
When I turn my car over the dash lights actually go dead. I turn the emegency blinkers on and they start buzzing and stays dead....until I unlpug the battery and then I get solid lights in the dash and the blinkers work again.

I tested the actually battery and it is at 13.8 volts, but I tested the terminal that goes onto the battery and that reads 14.2. This is when the car is on btw...

When the car is off..... and the emergency blinkers are buzzing the battery reads like 12.2 volts while the terminal reads 5.1.......when the blinkers are off they both read around 12.2

Besides most of the butt plugged wires being a problem I have no idea what is sucking up so much power. When the car is being jumped by another car the dash lights VERY dim when it tries to turn over and when it does turn over it is very slow and barely turns on. I checked every loose wire from the swap and made sure they were at least connected. Besides not knowing the wiring for the swap I have no idea what could have happened.

Something grounded? Some relay broke? Ignition switch? Like I said my car is very bumpy to the point where I expect something to come loose.

Any input is greatly appreciated since I'm kind of lost. Everything was fine when I got this car from Nevada...It made it the 250 miles through all sorts of bumpy roads...so I really have no idea.
