THis is my 300zx project car. I have had it for almost 6 years. I am getting older and need a more reliable car for the snow in the winter and really want to move on to something new for the winter. The motor was completely rebuilt 4000 miles ago with a proper break in. Turbo was rebuilt only 7000 miles ago.
The only issues with the car is it needs new transmission mounts (there is slop when you let off the gas.) The motor pulls great. The motor was rebuilt with all oem components with the exception of ARP bottom end hardware. The turbo is a stock 86 turbo with a an HKS wasegate actuator set at 10lbs of boost.
Other stuff on the car:

bilstein hd shocks
Suspension technique springs
Cusco rear strut bar
every bushing on the car was replaced with polyurethane upgrades
Polyurethane motor mounts
Hawk HP plus brake pads
Audi front mount intercooler
Greddy type S BLOV
Full 3 inch straight through exhaust with a magna-flow muffler
Sportmax 02 15x8 0 offset wheels
Brand new rear tires. Not even on the car yet. Fronts have 50 percent left
Aftermarket radiator and electric fan
SHort throw shifter
Shiro special edition sway bars
Brakes, ball joints, strut bearings, and wheel bearings were all done with in the last 10,000 miles.
This car is by no means perfect but is a great project car and a fun car to play with on the weekends. Unfortunately I do not have time to have fun with it any more
