Electrical Demons

I had gotten some new chassis harnesses for my car and recently put them in. They didn't work, i think because they were meant for an SE car. Not sure. But, whatever the case, my old beat up shitty ones went back in. I figured they looked sketchy, but worked. They had never given me any problems before. Well, now some weird shit is happening that i cant seem to figure out. Some i think i know what the cause is, but need a second opinion.

1. Hud - if i put the key in the on position, the hud speedo wont come on. however, if i turn on the headlights, it comes on no problem. My boost controller goes hand in hand with this. Everything on the cluster works except my tach, which i will get to below.

2. Relays getting hot/buzzing - i had a 75a fuse blow. No power to the back of the car. This took place with the cluster stuff. I forgot to ground something. So, i grounded it and put another fuse in. drove it. When i get back, the fuse is hot along with my egi relay. So i took out the fuse so it wouldn't blow. It does not blow immediately.

My flasher relay buzzes, but only when the hazards are pushed in. The turns flicker rapidly, but the front ones are not hooked up.

3. Tachometer - the tachometer doesn't read accurately. For instance, the tach reads 1200rpms when i'm really at 3200 or some shit. When i drive i gets really sluggish and sometimes gets stuck in places even.

Ive read some stuff about tcu going out. I'm gonna pursue that and keep.chasing demons. anyone had issues like this?

I had the cluster issues on a car I swapped, it turned out I just didn't have good grounds on harness. I know its seems redundant but maybe check those first.
