Since u need abs u could opt to get urs shortened at a shop..I guess u have s13 which is usually the cheaper than s14 but if u can't find one it's like $65 including a balance

It would be shortened at the weld on the rear most part of the shaft in front of the u joint..
Most likely the noise and vibration is from jamming the shaft into the tranny to far..it could damage ur tranny with too much pressure u should have a lil play room so get it fixed asap..also it could be slightly warped from this also thus wen it is shortened it will get a rebalance
Mine was shortened like 1 1/4 inches so it doesnt take much believe me

Oh i see thats
some helpful info.
Well my old tranny had that peace at the end of the tranny taken off im guessing to let the driveshaft fit in
but my tranny recently had its 5th gear syncro go bad so i got
another tranny
but this one still has that little dist cover thing
do u think ima have a problem fitting the driveshaft i already have on my car?

I had a 1 piece so I dropped the diff and just forced it up into place..itl be easier to miss since urs bends in the middle but if it doesn't feel right n isn't going in nice n smooth most likely it is the wrong one..also they told me my u joints got a lil warped just from jamming it in there but luckily not out of spec which would also cause a lot of vibration...try measuring it and if u want more info give these guys a call they are legit n will answer any questions about what exact size u need n stuff
