cigarette lighter port help!?
Yo i need a quick answer to my prob.... anyways i own a s14 and it didnt come with a cigarette lighter port, ended up getting one off a friend from a 13 so i made my own harness since my car no longer has the factory plug for that port i used 16gauge wires one for power and one for ground on the power side i am using a "add a circuit" and put a 10amp fuse on it... well before i starting plugging anything in(dont wanna fry any of my gadgets) i took a volt tester to make sure it has power well that power lasted for a sec and then blew the 10amp fuse like nothing... can anybody tell me what im doing wrong??? THANKS
