suspension setup for autox/dd

hi -

i recently took my 89 coupe out my garage after over a decade of hibernation. i drove her once a month or so and she runs fine today. going to do a full inspection, compression check, and maintenance in the next month or so. i believe she's on KYBs or bilsteins and eibach sportlines at the moment.

i currently track and autox my 08wrx and have prepared that so i'm not a stranger to suspension or research but now find myself on the complete other side of the fence as a noob again with the 240sx.

i also find a lack of information when it comes to autox as most applications for racing are road course and drifting. there also is no organization in this forum when it comes to technical knowledge being made available. the myriad facets and categories are just thrown into one field and subforum and you're expected to find what you're looking for? is there another forum better organized by categories?

what are some good adjustable strut/spring setups or coilovers (spring rates?) for my intended purpose - three or so autox sessions a month and a DD?

what are the front and rear motion ratios on these cars?

is it a multilink rear with a macpherson front?

i'm not looking for a slammed ride, rather significant travel and droop for an optimal comfortable ride (DD) but also effective on the autox course.

i guess coilovers with the right valving and rates (once i know the motion ratios) could be effective.

any insight is appreciated.

thank you!
