Pic Request!! - S15 SR20det VTC Solenoid (pics included)

Anyone willing to unscrew theres and take a picture as to what it looks like. I bought two to replace mine (rattles like a bitch first blip of gas). I took mine out and it looks like this compared to an s14:



Here's a picture of the other I bought from japan



Problem is, mine doesn't have that nub on the end and I'm just making sure what the solenoids are supposed to look like. So if anyone can unscrew theres and take a picture i'd love to see it.

do a search on the UK's sx owners club, http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/index.php , they just recently had a thread not to long ago comparing a bunch of the different solenoids with pics, you may be able to find out something there. There are alot more S14's on there.

Hey guys been trying to do research but havent been finding any info on it....

I was told i was buying a s14 motor but now im not sure... the motor did not have any coil packs no turbo acc etc almost blank...

i am adding pictures of the serial number of the motor if anyone can lead me to the direction of where to find out where i can get one....

the other reason why i am not sure anymore is because the vtc looks like the s15 and not s14

someone sent me a pic of an s14 vtc solenoid and it matches the pic above...

i however have purple injectors which means its 370cc...


So thats my dilema how can i tell what i have? i dont want to order parts for the wrong motor even thought are interchangeable from what i found just not sure on the vtc... thanks guys
