I have a beautiful Aprilia SXV550 Supermoto for sale.

I have gone through great lengths to make sure that this bike is reliable. The main concern with these bikes is the reliability and in my opinion is the only reason these weren't the best motard bike of all time.
These bike have long been criticized due to the 2007 models having oiling issues, case sealant issues, electrical issues, and so on.

This bike is a 2007.

It has had the engine completely rebuilt from Scuderia west ($3200) using all new parts.
2009 Cylinder heads.
2009 Design pistons with the dual rings.
2009 Updated oil pump.
Dry sump oil tank baffle mod.
Slipper clutch with new friction plates and springs.
All new seals, case sealant, and gaskets.
Timing gears and sprockets.
Valve adjustment.
New 2009 spec starter.
New Stator.
New Chain.
New oil filter.
All new fluids.
G2 throttle cam system.
TuneBoy ECU programming system.
New Iridium Spark Plugs.
Aprilia Extended range 3.5 gallon tank
Aprilia Seat for extended range tank
Aprilia OEM tank

This has been a great bike for me. I had always wanted a SXV550 since they first came out. I have cared for this bike properly, and have maintained it properly. It is a blast to ride. Does wheelies in every gear and will go over 120 mph! It makes over 75 hp and tons of torque with it's race inspired V twin, dry sump engine. It revs like an angry F1 car.

It is regarded by many as the fastest, best looking, and best handling motard built to date. I would have to agree.

Bike is currently registered for use on the street and will not be an issue to keep street legal.
Bike is kept indoors in my shop in Campbell and can be viewed there anytime with an appointment.

Again this is a reliable SXV550 that never has any problems starting. Even when cold!. It doesn't consume oil, or coolant. Just rear tires and fuel.

Bump, I had a sxv up at Monticello Motor Park last season and I pulled a faster time then most guys on 1k's...BTW did you ever do a bolt in cage for the Z or are you still working on one ?
