You have a fair bit of misinformation here.

These use the exact SAME size pad as the Z33 / G35 Brembos.
Additionally the only difference between this caliper and a Z33 / G35 Brembo caliper is a ~2-3mm difference in offset - which means to use these w. Z33 rotors you'd need to shim the caliper out a little. I have personally done this install on a friends car.

Also as for size the Nissan application Brembo calipers pads are SMALLER then the ~2008 EVO. I have installed the EVO calipers as well and they are larger then these.

Sorry, I meant to say thicker. Shape, width, length are the same. Thickness is different.
evo brembo = 585
z33 brembo = 610
r34 brembo = 660

there, now we have our facts straight.

Hawk lists pads for the R34 in 575, 590 and 660 depending on compound etc.
I don't see what functional difference how thick a pad is will give you aside from pad life.

I can't tell any real casting difference vs. a set of 350z calipers...

i have a good solution for you

buy these calipers, then you can put them side by side and measure them with a caliper ALL day long. i've done that, now you can too!

just curious, have you actually had these calipers and the z33 calipers, or are you just getting your information from online vendors and sources? im just asking, because ive had them both. not saying this to talk shit, because my memory is not 100% accurate but its pretty spot on (usually)

I have owned & installed both R34 & Z33 Brembo calipers on Z32s.
I also have a set of Evo Brembos on my S14.
