Clunking from under car

I just installed subframe collars and went to test it out... I'm noticing alot of clunking types of sounds now.... maybe the sounds were dampened by the stuck rubber subframe thingies, but I guess using the spacers just made all the sounds more apparent... I know that I installed them correct. Those suckers are in there TIGHT now. I even tried retightening them after I drove it.

When I jack up the rear differential and lower it, there is more or less no visible movement where the collars are.

Do the collars add more noise? Or is it being solid just finally unmasking what problems existed before (soundwise).... Let me describe what its doing.

When there is torquing and untorquing through the drive train (gas in, gas out) I hear a clunk/thunk... kinda like if someone had a rubber mallet and just hit something... it is coming from the rear..... also if I just rapidly tap the gas VERY lightly... kinda like if you tap your foot on the floor to the beat of music, but just doing the same motion on the gas pedal... you can hear it clunk with the rythm of your tapping.... and mind you, this is VERY light tapping. Enough to get some gas out, but not enough to change your acceleration.

And now also I notice that occasionally, even shifting through the gears will produce that clunking sound. I'm thinking that its coming from the transmission or something but I dunno... maybe tranmission mount? Or something inside the transmission itself? Or I dunno... what do you guys think? I think I have described it in pretty good detail.
