rb25 cts problem

My rb25 won't start when it gets warmed up. But if I unplug the cts it starts right up. Tried replacing it and the same thing happened. But if I plug the cts back up after I start it, it runs fine then. Did I just get another bad cts, or is it something else? could it be a bad ecu? i opened it up and nothing is broke or smells/looks burnt in the ecu. If i jump the battery off with another car, itll fire right up with the cts plugged in
