Ka24de shuts off when not on gas? $$$

Ok so here's the deal I need to get the car running right by tomorrow night and the car doesn't wanna stay on, unless I'm giving it gas. So if your good with ka's and are not Gunna charge me and arm and a leg for something that is easy as buy and replace shot me a pm I'm willing to pay someone to come over and help me out on this ASAP. Make a new friend and get payed lol

So here's what I'm dealing with, 89 coupe se with a s14 ka using the s13 lower IM and s14 upper IM the ka is stock with no emissions. The car turns on but wont stay on by itself unless I'm stepping on the gas, and some times the starter make a weird noise that sounds like in not getting the flywheel or something and this is the second starter with the same result. I'm lost, I don't think I'm make sense and I'm going crazy
