downpipe / downpipe rubbing

so i just replaced my old turbo with a gt28 from cxracing.
everything has been set for it finally got it on and works fine, problem is since the turbo is slightly shifted it forces the down pipe and steering column to rub against each other.

please any suggestions would be helpful

i found that if i raise the downpipe/piping it might clear, or maybe an extended elbow for the downpipe, idk
