looking for my rims for my s14. i have a couple rims in mind
R32 16x8 +35

Volk GM 57 Pro 17x9 +12 or 17x8 +25(would that look ghey?)

5Zigen fn01rc 17x8 +25


well thats about it. can you guys make some recomendations? i dont want to spend more than ~350 per rim.

pros
- the 57pros are half forged and half cast. i forgot where its forged either the face is forged or the wheel is forged.
- better offsets available than the gt-rs
- nicer colors available

cons:
-most exepsnive of the three
-not entirely forged?

R32 GT-Rs they make great beater wheels. i want a set myself. i love that revered sunken look. lol. actually, its just a high offset look, but r32 gtrs have always reminded me of 5 spoke te37s.

-nice looking oem wheels
-forged (i think)
-looks great
-cost about 600-800 for set? not bad
-rarest of all in the US

-weak offsets
-not wide enough for my taste

5zigen FN-01RCs - great beater wheels. i also want a set of thse to myself. very lightweight. (i picked up a display at superautobacs, and then picked up my volks. they seem lighter, even though my volks were probably 2 inches wider) looks ok but super played out. everyone and their monkeys have a set but for good reason, they're cheap wheels that are pretty good quality. great new widths and offsets for this season.

-comes in your choice of three colors
-possibly lightest of the three
-inexpensive

-cast aluminum or is it forged? i think its advertised as forged. unsure
-everyone has them
-ok looking. not great not bad (imo)

*i think all three sets of wheels will clear zbrakes. not sure about the r32s clearing coilovers. i'd go w/ the 57 pros if i had the money. but for the price, i'd probably go for volks. (personal peference)

The 5zigens used to be on wheelmax for a lot less than your stated 350.00/wheel, you may wanna look into that, as those will be the least expensive of the 3 you chose...

they are Cast...not forged...FN01R-C...

and if you elect to get them, choose the 17x9 +15 size...much better..

PHLIP - i was just saying thats my limit, not how much the fn's were. the 57pros are ~340.

Salty - your car looks awsome with the TF rims, would not mind those either.
