I have two oem Nissan key ring lights that will fit any 240sx or any other nissan for that matter with very little modification. Im selling each one for $25 shipped they both have the stock green light bulb they came with but you can buy other colored light bulbs online if you like.
I personally have one on my car and have included a picture so you can see what it looks like when lit.

You don't use the plug, the plug is there because of the original car it came from. There's a really good write up on how to install it that I can send you or you can just search it on google.
