Congrats of having bought a nice car!

I can tell you, no problem making 600whp out of a SR20 engine. I am currently doing a 1000whp SR20 engine.

You would get more torque with a 2jz but it's a lot more expensive IMO, at least where I live. SR20 block can handle up to 700hp if the cooling is good enough. If you want more than that I would suggest you to have darton sleeves inserted.

You literally woul only need to upgrade connection rods, pistons and headgasket for a 450 whp, + a larger turbo. Stock inlet manifold can be used up to 500 flywheel hp.

If I were you I would have chosen the SR engine for the build

^$1000 usd not bad..

I'd go with:
Rb26. Rb25 trans, Single gt35 turbo, 850cc injectors, aeromotive 340 pump, Power fc easy 5-600whp for what your gonna spend on that 2j engine alone lol

It's awesome to see dudes from all over the world. If you have an unlimited budget do a 2j. If you on a budget do 1j. Sr's can handle a lot of power after you build them. A 1 or 2j can make 450 on stock internals.

Oh and be prepared for people to hate. This is zilvia. Every one is rude

don't the RUCA's face forward ? so they don't rub the coilovers ? or is it just me ?

cool sounding build so far, I would rock the 1J personally as its cheaper where I am, so I would assume the same for you, a single GT35 turbo, 850's, AEM EMS, FMIC, 255 or 340 LPH pump and water/meth injection should net you a decent amount of power. also, a good set of cams and a good ( apexi or Tomei ) Head Gasket.

Please keep updating. It's really interesting to see what international s chassis owners do!

If it all costs the same, do a 2J.

Digging it. What are your plans for the color? I think the yellow with the Meisters would look pretty rad!
