Could this be the wheel bearing

Last weekend I but Hawk sp+ pads on the front and I hear a faint scraping sound I havent gotten the chance to take the wheel off, but I did check the rotor and everything looks fine no deep scratches.

This is on a base 98 and I did use search

Thanks in advance-Chuy

It could be just that you haven't bedded the pads in or that the rotors are alittle warped.

Those pads are also noisy... thats just the way they are.

If your calipers arent sticking and its just when you brake its most likel jsut the pad noise...

How do you bed them just incase I didnt do the samething that your talking about. I agree that they are noisey but I dont see why it makes a noise when the brake is not in use I also thought that they could be warped, But Im just scared about the bearing
