Theyre really isnt much wiring to do.. Just look under your fuse box for the big brown plug with the 2 fat wires, Jump them and thats it.. When you put the 5 speed tranny in, connect the speed sensor and your done!
5 speed trannys are purely mechanical.. no big deal

are the harnesses that connects to the auto speed sensors the same ones used for manual harness transmision? is it plug and play? how about the wiring for the clutch safety and what not. (wiring for how you need to depress the clutch in first to start the car.)

oh and it also talks about cutting in to at harness, I will be putting mt harness in so I shouldnt have to cut into the harness, all I have to do is the first step by completeing circuit and maybe the reverse lamp part right.

No you dont have to wire ANYTHING BUT THE SPEED SENSOR ON AN S13 TRANNY unless you wanna go through worthless work.
I have just the Speed sensor connected on my brother in laws S13 and the car runs like a champ with no CEL for 2 years now.
Stop making it more complicated than it is.

now to the subject of the speed sensor, I had an s13 auto tranny and tried to take it out, I took the one screw out and the thing would not budge, so i ended up just throwing the tranny out cause it was shot anyway, could I use an auto tranny sensor anyway, Plus I still have to take the one off my sr tranny so how would I go about doing this. Is it that hard or is mine just being a PITA.
