Sr20det downpipe to trannsmission bracket question!
Hello zilvia, I'm trying to find the bracket that bolts from the exhaust insulator to the transmission mount. Any help would be appreciated.
Btw the part number for the insulator is 20610-52F00 Thanks |

I ran my SR without the bracket connected (CA tranny)... No issues whatsoever... and a lot of aftermarket downpipes don't even come with it.

You should absolutely run that bracket. Takes the weight of the exhaust off the turbo which means your t2 gasket is less likely to blow. Also keeps t2 intact when your bro-low car is scraping exhaust everywhere

I would advise rigging up/welding a custom bracket if you're worried about stiff ride or low vehicle exhaust to ground contact backing your manifold or turbo bolts out and/or blowing turbo/manifold gaskets. It isn't needed, but is definitely helpful! PBM sells a cobra downpipe that eliminates the need for an elbow (less bolts to worry about) and uses a flex pipe in the downwards section to avoid scraping it on the ground and shaking off some vibrations to the manifold. It comes with a bracket that you can adjust to raise or lower the exhaust as well. That bracket will do the job. Well worth it in my opinion.
Otherwise, first suggestion: weld your own. Like others have said, there's a chance the stock bracket won't line up anymore...unless you're stock downpipe. |

My Isis downpipe has the bracket to bolt it to the tranny mount so I'm guessing they mounted it in the correct place to use oem pieces. I cracked my last manifold because I didn't have any flex pipe in my downpipe and this not connected.

I see. The part of the bracket that bolts to the transmission is still on mine, but the rubber bushing that connects the exhaust side and the tranny side of the bracket is ripped in half, so it's no longer connected. I've searched around a few times and couldn't seem to locate if not even find the name of the whole replacement part. That's why I just resorted to making a custom one. It was a hell of a lot cheaper than I'd imagine ordering a genuine nissan part or something of the like. But since you have the bracket, why not just bolt it on? Or is it only part of it?

For those who are also looking for the bracket, I was able to locate the part number for it. It is
20712-S13002. It can be bought at courtesy nissan along with the insulator(P/N in OP) |

^^See those two holes in the lowest pic? Your manifold cracked because you (or whoever installed it) didn't have the manifold brace installed. It's a brace that goes from the 4-bolt flange to the exhaust port flange and keeps ir rigid; precluding cracking there or at the runners. HOWEVER, I am certain that not having the tranny to DP bracket didn't help lol
