SR sr s14 problems

while i was driving car was going into boost really fast and breaking up under boost, it almost felt like i was running out of gas.I had about a 1/4 tank of gas. i wonder if i got some bad gas... or maybe the car was running too rich.im probably gonna change out the spark plugs oil change and fuel filter change soon, but if anybody can chime in feel free thanks.

misfires like that could be fuel or spark. If you have a stock fuel pump you might want to get a walbro, if you have a walbro they tell you not to let your gas go below a quarter tank since it could burn up if theres not enough fuel in the tank. if you dont have a 300zx fuel filter then you should get one.

Could also be weak spark from ignitor, coilpacks, or spark plug gap.

Had a problem similar to this recently, just go through all the cheap or easy or free replacements first (coilpack harness ground and other grounds, spark plugs, filter, etc), then if you can try to borrow other parts to rule out coilpacks, ignitor, fuel pump, etc.

good luck with the troubleshooting.
