Stock turbo specs

I know this isn't a DSM forum but I had a question about stock turbo size for the eclipse. I was under the impression that the 4G63 engine came with a stock Garret T-25 turbo with side mounted intercooler on all eclipse turbo models. There's a guy that just bought a 90' and it's got a TD-04 turbo strapped on. He's telling me that the seller told him it was a stock turbo on the car but I said he's smoking crack. Could anyone clarify this for me? I'm mostly trying to comfirm so that I can tell this guy that he needs to run the car through the proverbial ringer to make sure the turbo setup is clean and in good working order. That way he doesn't blow the damn thing within a month. It's scary cause he doesn't know a damn thing about turbos but the fact that they make the car go faster....whoo scary!! Could be a expensive lesson for him!!
