Guaging interest. Charge Speed!!!

We will be a distributor for Charge Speed within a few weeks. We were going to be just selling their subaru kits, but thought i would see if anyone with a silvia likes their products.

You can find their online catolog here.
http://www,Chargespeed.com

Thanks and let me know, maybe we can start stocking their parts if you guys show enough interest.
Luke

Too robotic looking for my taste. Makes the car look fake and gives the impression that the car is acually a Transformer and is about to unfold into a porterpotty. I like very flush kits that look OEM but just stretched towards the ground, very smooth, and not holes and uneven boxy designs everywhere. Thats my opinion. Im sure 50% like that syle kit and Im sure 50% would not.

Too wild for my taste and the quality leaves something to be desired (based on the chargespeed s13 i've seen). When i benchmark FRP products i like to use Vertex as my standard of excellence, a good example of good FRP is when Speedalliance's s14 got into a minor fender bender b4 the nissan festival. A vehicle had collided w/ the FRP wide fender and had only moderately splintered the paint and maybe made a small crack...because the vertex fender was so solidly made. Most other FRP fenders aren't able to duplicate that level of construction.

Charge speed isnt bad but just not durable enough for my tastes. I say the vendor should offer it and see if he gets any good sales if not just pull the product.

Vertex is very good but I think you are underestimating Charge Speed. Did you see the Pac Rim S13 w/ full Charge Speed kit crash into the wall going 60mph at D1? Granted the front bumper was totaly cracked but the fenders came out with only minor cracks. You can see how the fenders held up here:
http://www.carandmodel.com/article/175.php

just scroll to the bottom and you'll see the animated gif of the car crashing.

i think the kit is really good. its strong and it fits really good with out any modifications. the only thing i dont like is the large vent in front isn't as big as it looks. i'll show some pics later. but all in all i like charge speed.

how much can you get the kits for?

Here are pics of the fenders, front 20mm wider silvia fenders, and rear 50mm fenders. They are taped on in the pics, but the fit is perfect.

And their seats too. Carbon Kevlar is sexy.
