trip to amsterdam, info?

im just looking for some info on amsterdam, and i already tried searching, but couldnt really find anything worth while. there used to be a thread on here a long time ago that had tons of pics and all that, but i cant find it.

basically a friend and i are going over to amsterdam in september and were looking for information from the smoker community on where to go, the good shops, and the cheap places to stay, some good maps of the city, prices of bud, prices for everything...etc...

all in hopes that we can start saving money now so that we can have a great trip once we get there

any info would be great, even a link to a guide of some sort to amsterdam would be a great help.
