Nissan Consult adapter

hey guys i just ordered one of those nissan 14 pin consult adapters from the china land, because im not baller enough to afford the 4gs for the actual one lol. ive read some reviews on them and people dont seem to have a problem with them, but i was wondering how many guys on here use them or have used them. no i will not jump pins on my buddies rb25 s2 ecu to get codes, because we need it to fine tune his idle and timing. we are going to be hooking up to nissan data scan, does anybody else have any suggestions on a program to use? flame all you want, but we all aren't as baller as the zilvian gods.


if this happens to work out and it helps us do what we need to accomplish, I am going to be offering scans for people in the surrounding areas of NEPA.

Unless that ECU has been modded you cant do shit to the factory tune except temporary changes. Once the link is cut between the PC and ECU those changes revert back to factory and are not saved in the ECU.

Also you cant post services on here unless you purchase a vender's account. (which you dont)

we arent changing anything. i just want to see on a screen what its idling at and the timing and maybe some codes, i also want to get some diagnostics down on paper, before we send his ecu off to jk tuning or the have it dyno tuned.
