The Greddy turbo kit for the KA fits 96+. Does anyone on here know if i could put it on a 95? Is it the wiring that changed? if so how hard would it to be to frankenstien it to work? Would it just be easier to peice together my own kit? or is there another kit for kaT that anyone knows of? Thanks alot in advance for any help.

But yes it works fine on a 95, the EManage was tuned to work best on those cars but will work fine on yours too.

Yea it's just the Emanage thats on the thing thats supposidly supposed to work better on 96+...but it works fine...

How is that? The ECU programming is the same for all models, you can even use the kit on 91-94 cars if you get an S14 downpipe. The only changes would be emissions related and the Emanage doesn't tie in to any of that.

You said that turbo kit could work for a 91 ... how about a 90? Are there any SOHC turbo kits out there in production?

Obviously, no, it won't work on a SOHC. Everything single thing about the kit would have to be changed.

I had a sneez... So I checked the board.

Yeah kit works fine on the 95 240...

I will have to take pic's on my engine bay one of these days and post it for you guys... (It looks like any other turbo kit) Except its mine!

The only thing that I have had to do is allot of retune...

My 1st dyno I was at 8.8-9.0/1 AFR and only made 188hp at 8psi... This was also -10 on my whole timing map.

Now I'm nearing 11.8 - 12.0/1 AFR 10psi with anywhere from -1 timing at 1psi to -5 at 10psi. I even advanced my timing a little +2 when I'm under -5psi...

I dont know my HP/TQ right now becuse my clutch is burnt to shit from me tuning

When my clutch does hold I loose traction above 4k rpm's... Even with my 265's on back. (one wheel drive right now)

So all in all I'm happy... But I'll be adding more power soon.

BTW after the turbo kit it took 6 seconds less time to reach 113 mph...

23.5 Mpg normal.

31.0 Mpg Freeway trip

I get crap if I rod a bunch.
