ive found a auto silvia s13 that i can get cheap but want to convert to manual. its engine is ca18det. can i put on a gearbox out of an sr20det to a ca18de engine? this will help me save money when i finally get an sr20det engine

i dont know but you can use the transmission from a ca18et from what i understand

ok thanks, ive just found out a gearbox from a 2lt wont fit 1.8 'bellhousing bolt pattern different'.
