coilovers qeustions
Well i cant stand it any more..my 240 is 4x4 and i have coilovers but thats it... my shocks are blown so im just ganna slam it.. Do i have to modify the stock struts for coilovers?? Or is it as simple as swapping springs.. they are cheapass ebay coilovers got em for free.. they are temporary for a month or two..

first visit http://dictionary.com
Then I would suggest selling those coilovers... you will blow out your struts/shocks.

his shocks are already blown, nice useless input there buddy. Dan, check out 240sx.org and go to the installs section, they have a guide on installing ground control coilovers, not on stock struts, but it might be useful to you.

What you have are NOT the type of coilovers most of us put on our cars. Most of us use coilovers that consist of springs and shock (and strut) body.
I just put some KTS coilovers on my car.

yes, its as simple as swapping struts...no modification needed. However, you need shocks with a shortened or the new stock ones will blow again within about 10000 miles

Christmas is only a month away. Just wait until you can get the money for a set of coilovers. Just throwing those springs on blown shocks will compromise your safety while driving and probably be bouncy as hell as there is no dampening.
