i have this noise coming from the front of my motor (somewhere along the timing chain or the water pump/pully). im just hoping that the water pump bearing inside is just bad. its been like this for a long time. what i dont want the noise to be is my timing chain! how would i know when my timing chain is going bad. i have no cooling problem so the water pump is doing its job. the noise is not so loud, but i want to get it fixed sometime in the near future.
