Stuck sparkplugs
Hey,
I was going to change my spark plugs today and to my surprise they will not come out. I guess the previous owner didn't lubricate them or something. The question is should I just try to force them out? I've changed spark plugs before and they usally just twist off with slight force. Any suggestions? thanks. |

I would try putting a little force on em, with a decent spark plug socket and a ratchet with some leverage, And just pray to got they arent cross threaded or anything. Ive never had a plug twist off on me or break, the aluminum head usually gives before the plug does.

put some liquid wrench on the top of them and let them soak for a bit; try it then with just your normal socket that you normally use
if that doesnt work, then step up to a 1/2" breaker bar and try from there
