I'll be boosting a KA to around 20psi so I want to get a Tial 40mm wastegate because the springs on the 35mm only go to 16psi. Anyone know the bolt pattern on the RevHard manifold? Is it 2 or 4 bolts, so i know if the 40mm will fit or not.

Thanks

Revhard manifold uses a 2-bolt wastegate flange that fits either the Turbonetics Deltagate or the Tial 35mm. The larger Tials won't work, unless you cut off the manifold flange and weld on the one that (I believe) Tial includes with their wastegates.

Bonk. That's the sound of the rest of your post finally hitting something solid inside my head. I didn't notice the reason you stated for wanting to use a 40mm. Sure, I noticed the 20psi, and at that amount of boost on a KA, you'd possibly be flowing too much for a 35mm.
But you seemed concerned about the 16psi spring. This suggests to me that you're not planning on using a boost controller, or that you don't understand how boost controllers work. If either of these are accurate, then you probably need to learn a bit more about turbocharging before you boost a KA to 20psi (things can get nasty at that level).
Not a slam, just a friendly suggestion.

Well, I'm actually reading Maximum Boost right now, it's a great book.  The EBC regulates the pressure returning to the wastegate, so does that mean that I can run higher than the wastegate spring pressure says as long as the EBC can handle it?

Eesshhh.. cut off the flange &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':nervous:'> does anyone know anything about Kiwi turbo manifolds for the 240? I saw a new product article in Sport Compact Car a couple months ago. It's a big shiny chrome thing. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> &nbsp;I couldn't seem to find anything online about it so anyone here know anything about it?

Yes, a boost controller allows you to raise the boost level to higher than the wastegate spring's rating. You can *only* go higher, though, not lower.

Don't know anything about Kiwi, sorry.
