Z32 MC Bubble Fitting thingy...
Yeah I know you have to cut open an MC to get that little thing out... but I saw some at NAPA and the smallest size they had was 1/8"... anyone know if that works?... it was copper if it matters.
Thanks! John |

FYI you can also get them out of your clutch dampener box (that people remove) in the loop behind your clutch slave cylinder. Since it's a japanese part I doubt a standard size (1/8) would work. You need the bubbled side to be correct to mate up to the female bubble flare end, and you need the back of that peice to be the correct diameter to plug into the hole in the MC (4mm or so and tapered). Buy one and try it out tho....it may work....worst thing that would happen is that its too small and it falls out.......because even if its slightly too big....as long as the bubble flare end fits......the other end can be jammed in there and it shouldnt leak. Buy the fitting and hold it up to the female end of the flare in the hardline, and see if it looks like it seals. Also....use some teflon tape to seal the threads when you finally screw it in. -m

Thanks a ton for the info man. I'll actually just take out that clutch crap today and rip one out of it... hopefully it wont be too much of a pain... at leat I don't have to buy a crappy MC for $5 to get one. I thought about the standard/metric stuff but thought I could be lucky. Either way once I get the stock one out I'll compare it to the NAPA one for future reference.
