17x8 (backspace was 6")

17x9 (backspace was 6.5")

I am so confused... I searched and found a chart that said my offset for the 17x8's were roughly +38

when i do that calculation thing... Offset = backspace - width/2, i get some crazy ass number.

Offset = 6 - 8/2

Offset = 2" = 50.8mm offset?

Holy crap I am so confused.

Someone help me LOL !!

i believe it's offset = backspace - (width + 1)/2

in other words 6 - (8+1)/2 = 1.5.... which is about +40 and still sucks.
