K's is for the K's turbo S14 model, it's the side ebmlem, to the rear of the door
Q's is also an S14 emblem, same place, for a non-turbo model
A's is a rare package no one knows anything about, I think it was turbo, but manual options, not sure though
J's is the stripper model.

A's and J's emblems are S13.

j,q,k are different trim levels for the silvia. jack, queen, king respectively; with king being the highest trim.

i believe some q's came turbocharged as an option. maybe somoene else can confirm/correct me on this.

i never saw an ace badge before. it does fit in context with the whole playing card trim naming scheme.

S badges are hood badges
Red is kouki K's Aero SE Sport package.
Black is kouki K's/Q's and probably J's
Green/Silver is zenki
Green/Gold is also zenki, maybe someone knows the exact difference between these two but I've never noticed what it is. Green/Gold may be for s14 chuki

Trim badges are side badges
The black K's badge Ive never ever seen on any car, I actually question whether its a real badge, I suppose it could be zenki but all zenki K's I've seen have yellow K's badges just like koukis.

A's is sr20de s13, I think someone mentioned it was a stripped down version with no options possibly for circuit use?

The black Q's is the same as the black K's, never seen it on a car.

J's is just the s13 J's badge.

K's is the only trim level with turbo, Q's and J's are all sr20de. J's is simply an optionless Q's. As far as I know all trim levels were available in either manual or automatic transmissions. On a side note the only s14s that have digital climate control are the Aero editions, all non-aero trim levels came with the same HVAC we have here in the US. Also there is no J's aero

I have two black k's badges on both sides of my rig, right above the twin cam turbo intercooled trim sticker. The lightning bolt trunk lock hatch (which got torched in a fire) I think it was the lightning bolt anyway, but nothing on the hood. Im not sure if my car came with the k's logo on the hood, but ones going there regardless. Anybody know where I could purchase a new trunk lock by the way? I saw one on ebay a month ago, but no luck recently.

i dunno i dont think so. if you look all the "sheild" type thing started with the s14s, so y would the black one be on a s13?

s13 K's Q's J's are more oval than anything.



there were shitloads of versions of those. some of them had deck card symbols next to them like spades and clubs

for the person above who said he had that black k's badge, i think it was just a K's s13 and the previous owner or watever replaced it with s14 k's

you question whether the black K's is even an emblem, but you gotta remember, if it isnt a real emblem, y does it have a Nissan part number?

Heh ok, the black shield K's badge though, I have never seen on any car. I guess it could be a zenki badge but all the zenki side badging Ive seen is yellow.

Sorry if I'm reviving a dead thread, but the Q's emblem with the little club's on it was for the Club Q's which was basically an S13 K's with the SR20DE, with all the suspension and everything. I believe they also were available with the aero package, but I could be mistaken.

How about the 180SX?
I believe the grades were:
Type S (base model, na)
Type R (base model, turbo)
Type G (power options, na)
Type X (power options, turbo)

Are these correct?
