ka problems (chain?)
I was on my way home from work the other day and my timing chain rattle got really loud(rattle before was from the plastic guides) and it died as soon as i tried to take off in the turnin' lane. Wouldnt start. Waited a min or two, fired right up but it was really weak and loud, sounded like the chain, got it to my hood and parked it.
Opened up the valve cover and saw this- If pics dont work use this thread http://sanantoniorice.com/forum/showthread.php?t=749 It looks lieke that metal piece broke off and got stuck in the sprocket and made it skip? When you try to start it it sounds fine, just when it starts running. Any ideas? Last edited by whomiked; 10-22-2005 at 07:33 PM.. |
