Who here got the xbox 360 today? A few friends of mine convinced me to stand in line with them at Circuit City from 9pm last night till 7am this morning. It was cool, got some free food out of it and saw some old people try to fight over who was there first. So who else got there's today? And here are some picks for the hell of it.

I was number twelve in line.

its sooo hyped...i played it all day at my friends house...graphics are definitely better than xbox but isnt all that great...everyone hyped it up to be this amazing system but its kind of a let down...condemned is a fucking scary game tho

When i was in line, these guys kept checking the price on there phones and one auction went up to 5 grand.

How the hell are you gonna pay 5 g's for a dam xbox. Other than that, ive only played halo 2 on it and it seems to run smoother, but i guess i really wont be able to tell until i get an hd tv.

went with my boy to pick up his pre-ordered today. that box is like 50 pounds lmaoo. the power suply is super big. graphix are so clear and he doesnt have hd

Took that SATURDAY. Dunno if you saw in a previous xbox 360 post but my friend and I were both lucky enough to win one from pepsi.

I like it so far, I just wish I could afford to buy some games. I never had the original xbox so I don't have any games period.. Well, just Kameo which came with it. NFS Most Wanted will be in the mail in 2 weeks, got Ridge Racer 6 and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland coming from Gamefly this week too so we'll see.

I'm pretty impressed with it, and for the price I paid I'm extremely happy.

wow...this console is over-hyped...looking at those e-bay auctions simply boggles me. If people are willing to pay so much for a console....I really wonder what price range PS3 will be at.

has your Xbox 360 been working properly? seems to be a serious overheating issue, games locking up, systems not even turning ON, etc. for quite a few people...

If I would have just been able to get the core system, I woulda sold in on ebay for $600 or so. But since I feel I was lucky enough to get a Premium system I wanted to hang on to it so I could play PDZ that's been sitting at my house for a week.

There was already an annoucement that there wasent going to be enough supply of xbox 360 so the demand was going to be very high to hype it up more for xmas. Some people i know made a lot of cash off ebay.

and yes, i agree, the xbox360 is way overhyped. The games that just came out with it don't look next generation at all. Just xbox 1 games in high-def. It doesn't justify paying $600+ at all, not even $300. Maybe the next gen games will be a different story, but none of the launch games are anything special.

Seriously you have to see it running infront of you. It's NOT even close to anything from the previous gen. The opening on Perfect Dark Zero is a close-up of her eye, and it is EERILY realistic. I mean the first time I saw it I was like

WTF! That was by far the most photo-realistic grahpics I have ever seen.

sweet. pay that mutch for a system that only has mediocre games out for it. Awesome. once the good games come out i might pick one up, until then it would just be an expensive paperweight.

I got mine, the premium, waited 7 hours at walmart, i wanna sell it but i dunno how much people would pay for a slightly used one. Most wanted is addicting, and i heart xbox live.
