I'm not 100% about the 95s but the 2000-2001 RS and GS's are so fuckign slow its crazy...sheeps in wolves clothing

but uhmm i know there are alotta Fast eclispes in that year frame (95-99) but based on the way they treat the RS, i'd go for it...
jus race him man, you can't win them all , dont be afraid, and you will actually probably win this one anyway

Don't those things only have 140hp?  I'm sure the 240 is lighter too.  Theres a kid at work that has a 95-97 RS with a body kit and huge wing on it.  Hes always bragging about it but I just laugh at him.  Hes got a great sound system in it but its a stock engine with an aftermarket muffler...its not even a manual.  Challenge him to an auto-x style race...just get some cones and set it up in a parking lot.

dont discredit an eclipse rs. lets think here, i dunno some of you figure we would "ream" it or whatever. 1990 240 has 140hp and 152lb of torque, an eclipse has 140 hp and 135lb of torque. yeah, we'd beat it off the line, but once our torque drops off and their hp kicks in, they can begin to pull on you. my best friend has an eclipse with the same mods as i have on my 240. ill tell you how our races go. 1st gear i get a jump and pull till about 5400 then he catches up and we shift, i begin to pull again till about 5400 then he catches me. it just goes back and forth like that. they really arent that bad of a car, and they stack up quite well against a 240. the dohc 240 though would beat it i think, it would jsut have that little extra edge in power to beat the eclipse.
