will it work?

im new to zilvia but i need some help if anyone knows if a 94 nissan pick up truck motor will work as in bolt up and the ecu and wiring harness work on a 89 nissan 240sx? b/c my cusin has the 94 pick up and said he would give me the motor b/c i blew mine.


please help,

it should, u have to change the mounts, as far as wiring wont be plug in play as im sure they made a diff harness. OH, and the hardbody ka is tuned different, so ur car will be slower, more torque, but slower with lower redline.

actually its not that diffrent really, but the dizzy is in a diff' location i believe

yea thanks alot guys for the help i realy needed it i thought for sure it would fit i just wanted to make sure b/c ive always heard that the 240 had a bad name b/c the motor started out in a truck and i know it will proboly be slower then my old motor but i got a little secreat for the new motor

Im not sure but hardbody pickups up until a certain point are not ka's in fact they are Z24 and Z24i's ....

I would personaly stay awy from this and buy a twin cam at least. (lower miles)

the truck im getting the motor out of has a ka in it its not a z24 only the older ones have it in it and the truck im gettin the motor out of it a 95

it's not exactly bolt on, so if that's what you're looking for, you're better off swapping in another KA24E
