if the water pump is bad, shouldnt it be overheating?

Could be leaking ot the weep hole...which is a built-in feature to let you know the pump is dying.

That will not necessarily mean overheating.

as SirWarrior said just the clutch fan.
drain the coolant
remove top part of fan shroud
remove water pump/ps belt
remove the fan (4 10mm nuts)
unbolt 4 12mm bolts holding water pump
once you install new pump make sure you bleed the system. when filling up coolant jack up front of the car as high as you can remove 10mm bleeder bolt on top hose housing and pour coolant untill it starts to come out of the bleeder hole.
if you dont do taht properly car will overheat

top radiator hose... follow it to the head ... as soon as you get to the head you will see a 10mm bolt. ill see if you can get a pic for you . make sure you dont overtighten it tho if it brakes youre in for a world of pain. it doesnt take much torque for it not to leak
