Hopped a curb. Now engine is running rough!?!

What's up guys. The other day I hopped a curb with my s13 and all the sudden it starts running rough. I thought I had a flat but wen I pulled over my tires were fine but my car was still shaking while idling. It almost feels like I'm constantly running out of gas. So, I started my car, n starred pulling plug wires one by one. When I got to the third wire, there was no change in the idle which tells me its the third cylinder that's having issues because all the other wires being pulled caused it to run even rougher n eventually stall. I checked out the dizzy cap and rotor and the cap was fine but the rotor was worn so I replaced it.. no change. I also switched up the wires between #3 and #4 plug and wire and it still is the number 3 cylinder which tells me the plugs and wires are fine or else the problem would have moved to #4 cylinder. Any help is much appreciated thanks guys. Oh btw the car is a 90 sohc with 181k stock 5 spd.

I will do that tomorrow. I just don't get how hopping the curb can cause the engine to run like that

Ever consider the force of the impact? your car is 20+ years old, the parts aren't as tuff, as they were brand new.

My buddy had a lil jump in his old car years back and messed up motor mounts bad enough to were you could feel the motor moving up and down, even tapping on the hood o_O. But if youve been messing with the cylinders and found something that is really strange...

i'd be surprised if you didn't bend your LCA or strut in that... but yeah, as the others said, old cars + jarring = strange problems.

Good luck, sounds like you're on the right path

Yea def not mounts... #3 cylinder injector was pulled and engine ran the same. Tomorrow im gonna check pulses goin to the injectors with a multimeter and if they are getting juice then that narrows it to a bad injector, right?

same thing happened in my miata something was rubbing the motor (rack, chassis, sub frame) something could have bent and your car feels the motors vibrations that's what happened to mine.

If it was the subframe or mounts, the engine would run rougher when I disconnected the things listed above so no its not the subframe its the engine itself. I put a multimeter to the injector harnes and was getting around 13 volts so I kno its getting a signal. Do you guys think its a bad injector? Idk what to do..
