killed 2 RSX-S at frisco runs last night (results)
Mods are intake, new flywheel and exedy oem clutch, asp pulley, and crappy ass mookeh short shifter. Motor has 148k miles. Stock everything else.
Front tires: 205/40/17 @ 40psi (ADR 17x7) Rear tires: 195/60/15 @ 25-27psi (SE alloys) Open diff, spare tire, lots of tools in the back Ran a total of 12 times. Brand new stock blue RSX-S 1st run = lost by less than a car length 2nd run = WIN by half a car length 3rd run = lots of wheel spin (didnt finish) New BMW WIN (bmw didn't finish. driver said he forgot to turn off traction control) 69 camaro Lost by 3 cars with 4 car length advantage Trueno with unknown mods 1st run = lost 2nd run = win 3rd run = no decision. caught up on top end (2.2k launch but still lots of wheel spin) 4th run = no decision. caught up on top end (2k launch with less wheel spin) This car pretty much launched on me the whole time but I always caught up near the finish line. Black RSX-S with exhaust 1st run = lost by half a car length or less 2nd run = WIN by a car length 3rd run = very close run but lost by like 5 ft. My car took a lot of beating but I'm pretty happy with the results. I was just looking to beat some GSR's but no Integra came out to run. The Black RSX-S came up to me at the gas station and asked me what I got in my car. I told him it's stock but he's like, "no way, you gotta have something in there... you got an SR huh?". HAHA, my friend laughed so hard because I told him someone was gonna go up to me and ask if I got an SR right before we got out of the car. His friend with a white RSX-S wanted to run but I passed. The results would've been better if I had an exhaust, hi-flow cat, headers and most importantly LSD/welded diff. It was just too hard to launch with an open diff. I kept adjusting from 3k to 2.5k then 2k. It was fun while it lasted, but now I gotta do a tune up. |

Cool stuff. The RSX-S is pretty fast, unfortunately very hard to launch = not very good drag car.
I keep running into all these engine swapped EG Civics in SF. Pretty damn fast and they look stock, usually just lowered with some rims. |

I dont know any "runs" but I run into some random people at stop lights on the way to places. I'm afraid of EG Civics now after having my ass handed to me by a few. Those crazy Honda guys spend tons on their motors.
