I picked up the car today! It looks sweet! The dealer replaced the muffler, sunroof switch, and detailed the car inside and out. Looks really mint.

However..one little complaint..I hear a rattle coming from the trunk when I drive, especialy when I go over bumps. The rattle is pissing me off....a lot. Does anyone else have it?

btw, the car is a 1995 240SX (Canadian spec) LE fully loaded with everything: 5-spd, abs, leather, 5-lug Nissan rims, sunroof/moonroof, double din cd/tape deck with 6-speakers, etc..

It had 113K KILOMETERS when we bought it. We for it for $12,000CDN dollars.

Anyway..does anyone have a solution on the rattles??

I'm willing to bet it's the jack.  The top of it kinda hands loose to swivel when it's under the car.  The only thing you can do is jam it somehow so it won't rattle or maybe wrap it in a piece of carpet or a towel to muffle it.

if its not the jack look at the trunk latch thats on the body and un bolt it and slide it as low as it will go and make it tight this will fix it ... i had the same problem fixed it then got rear-ended and the trunk sits up bout 8 millimeters... o well <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> and rattles all day!

Had a fun drive in it today....quite nice..quite nice =) =)

If it wasn't for that damned rattling it would be perfect. Its very easy to cruise in.

My trunk does the same thing ('96) I just turn the music up and it goes away <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Hehe, I know its not the jack for me cauz I don't have one in there. congrats on the car, sounds great, as for the rattle , it is amazing how the sound of a blow-off valve and 10psi will make you forget about the noise...lol
