I remember someone telling there is a paint I can use to do a custom paint job in my interior. I just want to change my interior to all black and add some gray accents. Hope that does sound to weird.
Does anyone know where I can get this paint??

Krylon is msotlikely the spray they were talking about. It looks pretty good if you do it with an overcoat/gloss of somekind. For bigger things (i.e dash, door pannels that arent cloth etc) you should use a dye. I believe you can get both at your local shucks or autmotive hardware store.

I used fatty coats of Krylon paint and primer and it turned out great. Its semi-glossy and just right. Make sure to clean the parts very well or the primer wont stick right.

Hey GT Spec R,
If you are painting dash pieces and the like you can use Krylon. I used 9 coats of paint preceeded by 2 coats of primer on my dash pieces and its been a year and no fading yet! If you want to see a pic of my dash go to Cardomain I also have red floormats now!! BAHAHAHA Have fun with it! |

Thanks for the info, so I'm going with 9 coats of Krylon or vinyl dye and 2 coats of primer.

My friend Erik used the primer before he painted vents and what not out of his del sol, he said that the primer made it worse. I didnt see the pieces first hand, nor do I know how many layers of primer he used. I just recomend trying the primer or no primer on a small untoicable piece, just to see what looks better.
