it's cool if you don't spend more than 500. i totalled up the nitrous system i wanted, and it was well over 1200, and that's the route i'd go if i got nitrous, but for me at least, i'd rather put that towards a turbo kit or SR.

the reason why i'm considering it is that i could go for the nos set up here shortly, but i'll always want a fmax turbo kit w/ the ball bearing upgrade. n it could give me something to mess w/ till' my dream of having that "t" in my cars name becomes a reality.

You should get a NOS kit to mess around with (just don't let it be an excuse not to get a turbo) Then once you get a turbo convert it to a "spool up" setup so you would have minimal turbo lag. Just a suggestion so you don't buy it and think that it would go to waste after you get a turbo. A turbo/nos machine would be crazy (i would recommend some internal upgrades before you went crazy with a turbo/nos setup)

No real info, just an opinion:

Nitrous is fine if its not used a substitute for a nice engine.  It may be a little cheap if the other guy doesn't know you've got it, but hey, its not like racing somebody on the street is an official organized event.  Just don't use it against caveliers (that's overkill), save it for the mustangs (just to add insult to injury)

Personally, nitrous is last on my list of mods, well after a turbo kit and complete internal upgrades.

Use it as a supplement, not a substitute.

Turbo spool system would be neat.  A guy here in Az blew his KA on nitrous (gave him an excuse to get an SR.)
