hicas related question

I've been wondering about this for awhile and wanted some different opinions. Judging from SPL parts website (its the only place I go) for the s13 you have to have the hicas disabled in order to use the rear traction rods. Someone correct me if I'm misinformed. If the hicas has to be disabled is there anyway to get the same kind of bracing in the rear suspension as a non-hicas car could have? In theory though, how much of a difference in performance would the hicas system make versus a solid rear end that's properly aligned? Which would be the most predictable and stable?

It's all based on preference. Some people hate the hicas, some people love it. Some people think its unpredictable, some people think it's more responsive...
When you disable the HICAS system and buy the rear traction rods and whatever else is included in the HICAS delete kit, it should act like a non-hicas 240sx. HICAS 240sx's came with thicker sway bars, so I'm assuming it should have better bracing in the rear to begin with.
