engine opinions?

ive been thinking on what to put in my s13 but im stumped on what to do..kade, sr, rb.. theres just alot you can do to everything that im torn. i was wondering if people could tell me what they did or what theyd do and why? ive got about 1500 saved up, i know its not much but i really want to start to get a goal. anything would help

Research. Thats what I did. With $1500 your best bet is a ka. People arn't going to spoon feed you here.

Of you have a goal, wouldn't that also include a choice of motor? Sadly you aren't going to get much of a motor for 1500

well of course im not trying to get a motor and everything for 1500 but i was just asking opinions,but i am reserching ive looked at specs and everything its just i cant decide. i dont have a goal at the moment thats the problem haha

Put that 1500 and some more into suspension and then start to think about a motor

KA-T is your best bet with that kinda of money.....thats unless you have crazy hookups but in all reality KA-T for your budget.

You have to be more specific man. Just say I want to do a motor swap is going to get you no where on here.

You have to ask yourself; what do I want to do with my car.
ie: drift, drag, just have a fun dd.
Then you have to ask yourself; how much do i want to spend?
Prepare the get flamed pretty bad for asking this. All I can say is research research research.
I did a rb cuz i love the way they sound, I wanted more power and torque then a sr. Goodluck.....

I put an RB25 in my s13 for right around $5000. It was well worth the money.

excuse me?? just buy coilovers and a crappy lsd and have fun driving your car.

you should search the amount of effort that is required to make an engine run? if you dont know if an rb will drop in, an RB prolly isnt right for you.

once you start beating on your car youll figure out how much you want, lower hp with response, laggy as fuck high hp, some where in between daily, ls1, or be cool and get a 1j etc...

haha it was an error in typing i meant to say did you drop it in as you got it in or take the engine and do a build on it before the drop...
