I know the question is generic but what is an expected price for painting and installing rear over fenders with quality rivets....no moulding into the body? Trying to get an idea of what price range I would be looking at if I chose to do this. Much appreciated in advance folks. CHEERS!

depends on what fenders you get
depends on how well you choose to have them painted
depends on who's cutting/welding your metal

you have a better idea about those than any of us will.

Call some local body shops. But I bet it will be over $1000 all said and done.

Cost of fenders + labor at $60 to $70/hr + paint materials

bonded panels (not molded) look much cleaner than rivets, cheaper, and you don't ruin the entire quarter. JMO a much better alternative...

If you have to do rivets use stainless hardware and rivnuts not cheap aluminum 1/4" rivets. Rivets make the entire panel wavy too no matter how much bodywork you do, that's just how fiberglass is after settling for a few months.

Definitely over 1000 for cutting, welding, fitting, prepping, and painting the overs.

Thanks for the info guys. So fenders have been cut professionally and paint I have ready for use.

I do agree bonded panels do look better but I am assuming the cost compared to rivets is significantly higher. Yes....would not be using cheap rivets.

I apologize for the generic question but I have no bodywork knowledge so it's going to the professionals and wanted to get a rough idea of cost.

I did the rivet on method.. I have good charge speed overs so they didn't need much of any trimming.

The QP was cut, and then welded up and then I even had little mini tub type things done. All said and done if you shop around right it shouldn't cost more than 100 to have a basic weld and cut done.

Then just slap them on and wrap the car or roll unpainted for a bit.

Yeah... Or not. Do it once, do it right. 3m panel bond, not molded.

^^made a few calls to get some cost for the 3m Panel Bond work vs. just using the rivenut for the time being. I have a few appointments coming up in the next few weeks so hopefully I can get a good idea of a local cost. I will let you guys know what the shops say and see if it matches up close to what you guys have paid.

BTW, the car is getting Chargespeed 50mm Overs in case it mattered. Heard great things about the quality and fit.
