Problem with driver side window

Hey guys, this is my first post here but i've been surfin the forums for awhile now. My 240's window decided to stop rolling up about 5 inches from the top and I can't get it to roll all the way up and I can't get a new window any time soon and I was wondering if there is any way to get it up until I can get a new window regulator to put in.

Take the window frame out of the door. remove the window motor. raise the window to the top. once its where you want it. put the motor back in and it will hold it up. thats what i did. Its been working for me. Until i get my new amp
