Boost Leak crazyness!?!?

Since I put my second SR into my S14 I can't boost over 14psi. When I got my second motor I had to swap over both the intake and the exhaust manifoilds. The intake sides used these two metal gaskets that I am kinda concerned about. I got some soapy water and put it all over the intake pipe but I was unable to find any leaks on the pipes.I started checking with a vaccumm guage at various locations as didn't really find any answers.I have my boost gauge drawing pressure from the FPR and the intake manifold. At idle I am at -18~ psi from the boost gauge but when i put the vaccumm gauge in that location i was pulling -23~psi. Even with my boost controller set to 18~ psi I only see 14psi at my boost guage. When i turn my boost controller down to stock I am only seeing 5-6psi. The car drives fine and rarely stumbles.I just hope I don't have to pull my intake manifold off and I doesn't fix the problem. Any input is greatly appreciated.

heheh..it's one of those things that you go "why didn't I think of that?" for. It only takes a couple minutes to make, too =)

Hey..are you free this weekend, btw? Specifically Sunday? I've gotta pull my engine out again *sigh*
