KA24DE wont rev past 2.5k

Hello all, i recently picked up a fastback that was sitting for four years and had the motor swapped with another KA to get it running again. Ive been driving it for a few months with no problem but yesterday i lost the ability to push it past 2.5k RPMs and the idle became a steady 2k. Everything is in place and looks fine under the hood so i have no idea what it could possibly be. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Had the same issue on my buddies car the maf was not plugged in fully. Clean connection and plug back together and see what happens. If you need a new one I have a Ka24DE maf sitting here.

Yeah its all good and running now, taking your stock 240 on dirt roads can knock a few connections loose. Thanks though!
